Science Education Takes Flight!

An experiment in the behavior of fuel lines in micro gravity – designed and created by eighth grade girls – was recently tested in eleven minutes of weightless flight. Also on the flight was eighth grade science teacher and project mentor Ashlie Smith as well as a selection of dynamic toys developed by students in Nigeria and fabricated at the MSG.
