Night of first timers.

The last regular season game…CK came out dominating PCS zone💪🏼 with many opportunities on net.  PCS was the first on the board however not for long…Timko got the first in the net although being double teamed however was recalled due to the net being off its peg.  Defensive, Sophie Antone made a rush down the ice with a drop pass to center Grace Hardy hitting the post “clang”.  At 4:25, winger Ranya Ahmad had her first ‘dirty’ goal at the back post🫶🏼🏒, tiring the game at 1-1.  

In the second, CK had four power plays, during the first power at 9:47 Ella Lantigua made a pass up to Timko who ricochetted it off the boards getting pass the D, sliding into the slot & making her first goal of the game❣️Then 1m & 6 seconds later, winger Rebecca Park, shot a grounder to the net at 8:53 scoring!!  At 5:05 on another power, Ella streaks down the ice, scoring her first of the game with assists from Hardy & Patel. CK team effort of making great passes out of the zone and up through neutral zone is truly amazing to witness.  To watch the cohesiveness & confidence of the girls building on plays is incredible✨ 

At the beginning of the first, it was 4-1.  At 10:56, defense, E. Lantigua got an unassisted goal followed by Timko’s goal with assist from defense, Lela Lantigua & Sophie Antone.  CK started to slow the roll and created opportunities by passing in the zone, cross ice & D-to-D.  El & La Lantigua set it up from defense, scoring a goal at 8:56.  At 7:17, Timko, got the ‘hat trick’ to end the game with a huge confidence booster to continue into the playoffs.
