Tucked into Detroit’s Milwaukee Junction, Kiesling offers more than just craft cocktails—it’s a thoughtfully restored, century-old space that has evolved into one of the neighborhood’s most distinctive gathering spots. On Wednesday, May 13 from 6:00–8:00 p.m., that setting becomes the backdrop for the CKAA Annual Meeting & Alumni Gathering, an evening dedicated to reconnecting and reflecting on the year behind us.
This annual gathering celebrates a productive year of alumni engagement and mentoring, while creating space to reconnect with fellow graduates, faculty, and staff. Whether you’ve been actively involved or simply looking for a way back into the community, the evening offers a relaxed and welcoming opportunity to catch up and hear updates on the latest CKAA initiatives. Former faculty member Dr. Jeffrey Welch will join as a special guest, adding to the significance of the occasion.
Owned by Jacques Driscoll ’00 and his wife Christine, Kiesling is part of a growing portfolio of beloved Detroit establishments. The Driscolls are also behind Green Dot Stables and Johnny Noodle King in Detroit, as well as Yellow Light Donuts, with locations inside Michigan Central Station and on the city’s east side. Their expansion into Kiesling reflects a continued investment in distinctive, community-centered spaces across Detroit. Blending its century-old character with a thoughtfully curated cocktail menu, Kiesling provides an ideal setting for meaningful conversation and connection among alumni.
Street parking is available, along with a nearby paid lot for added convenience.
