Adarsh Rachmale

Adarsh Rachmale ’16 is the co-founder and CEO of CoverTree, an insurtech startup modernizing underserved sectors of the insurance industry through digital tools and data-driven solutions. A leader from his earliest days at Cranbrook, Rachmale founded the School’s entrepreneurship and engineering clubs and delivered a TEDxYouth talk his senior year titled “Social Entrepreneurship: From Alleviation to Eradication.” That same year, he was part of the team that won the prestigious MIT Launch Entrepreneurship competition. He went on to earn dual degrees in Business and Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, then joined LinkedIn as a product manager before launching CoverTree. Today, Rachmale leads a team of 50 and has raised $23 million in venture capital to grow the company’s reach—starting with insurance products for manufactured homes, tiny homes, and other nontraditional dwellings. By applying smart technology to legacy systems, he is helping reimagine financial access and inclusion for everyday Americans.
