Record-Breaking Lacrosse Champion, Rising Pro
Izzy Scane ’18 is one of the most accomplished players in the history of women’s lacrosse. A two-time state champion and all-time leading scorer at Cranbrook Kingswood, she graduated with Michigan high school records in career goals (461) and total points (577). At Northwestern University, she rewrote the NCAA record books—becoming the all-time Division I leader in goals scored and leading the Wildcats to the 2023 national championship. That same year, she was awarded the prestigious Tewaaraton Award, recognizing her as the top player in college lacrosse. Known for her fierce competitive spirit and scoring precision, Scane was selected first overall in the 2024 Athletes Unlimited draft and now plays professionally at the highest level. Her remarkable rise from Cranbrook standout to national champion and pro athlete continues to inspire the next generation of players.
