Rob Edwards

Detroit native Rob Edwards ’81 is a legitimate A-lister. Perhaps best known as a screenwriter for the Oscar-nominated Disney animated features Treasure Planet, The Princess and the Frog, this year's Marvel blockbuster Captain America: Brave New World, and Angel Studios' hit, The King of Kings. He’s written for such TV series as "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", "Full House", and "In Living Color". His graphic novel Defiant: The Story of Robert Smalls will be out in June, amidst rumours that Rob will be writing the feature film based on his book. In his spare time, he serves as an adjunct professor of screenwriting at the University of Southern California.
