Hitting a High Note: Cranbrook Vocal Music Students Find Success in First All-State Outing
Last weekend, four Cranbrook Kingswood Upper School students performed with the Michigan School Vocal Music Association (MSVMA) State and All-State Honors Choirs.
This is the first time ever that CK students have participated in the rigorous audition process to earn spots in these top ensembles. The State Honors Choir is limited to a maximum of 80 members selected from all vocal music students across the state of Michigan.
In addition, four Middle School students were selected for the Middle School State Honors Choir, and two additional Upper School students were selected for the All-State Musical Theatre Ensemble, which will perform at the All-State Gala in May in Lansing.
Congratulations to all the singers who represented Cranbrook so well and sang beautifully.
