Cranbrook Schools Community Comes Together to Celebrate Year of the Horse
The evening of Saturday, February 21, saw the Cranbrook Schools community marking Lunar New Year with a remarkable event that uniquely brought groups together from every part of the school for an evening of performances and celebration.
To welcome the Year of the Flaming Horse, student clubs and parent volunteers worked alongside the Performing Arts departments from every schoolhouse as well as the office of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access, Admissions, Advancement, Facilities, Chartwells food service, and Communications. Student groups included the Sino Club, Korean Club, and Vietnamese Club.
The whole-community-created event sold out. Activities included calligraphy and face painting, Chinese tea tasting, Korean games, and Vietnamese peach flower paper craft.
