Cranbrook Schools is hosting its TEDxCranbrookSchools event, the first in nearly a decade, bringing back the renowned platform to the community for an inspiring evening of thought-provoking talks dedicated to "Ideas Worth Spreading.”
The event is scheduled for Friday, February 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the DeSalle Auditorium in the Cranbrook Art Museum. It will feature world-class speakers alongside voices from the school's own students, fostering connection and meaningful conversation.
Headlining the evening are two distinguished keynote speakers:
Chuck Garcia, a professor at Columbia University, executive coach, professional speaker, and former Head of Global Marketing at Bloomberg. Garcia brings decades of leadership experience from Wall Street and expertise in executive development.
Steven Wang, a 2020 Cranbrook Kingswood alumnus and the 24-year-old CEO and founder of Dub, a pioneering copy-trading platform. In early 2025, Dub secured $30 million in Series A funding, bringing its total funding to $47 million. Wang, a Harvard dropout and young entrepreneur, has quickly established himself as a leader in fintech innovation.
The event is set to be an evening of profound conversation and connection.
