As campus came back to life following winter break, the Cranbrook Dining Hall filled with familiar faces as alumni from the Classes of 2021–2025 returned for a Young Alumni Lunch. The gathering offered recent graduates an opportunity to reconnect with classmates, greet faculty and staff, and spend time once again in a space that remains central to their Cranbrook experience before heading back to school and work.
Coach Matt Gump brought a strong group of alumni together for the annual men’s alumni basketball game, welcoming former players back to Keppel Gym for an evening that blended competition, camaraderie, and school pride. Representing a wide range of class years, alumni took to the court with energy and good humor, reminding everyone that the fundamentals—and the competitive edge—never really fade.
The game moved quickly and played hard, with plenty of sharp passing, fast breaks, and familiar rivalries resurfacing along the way. Between plays, the conversation flowed just as easily, as teammates reunited, swapped updates, and reconnected in a space that holds decades of shared memories. The men’s alumni game continues to be a highlight of the winter season, offering a chance to return to campus, lace up once more, and celebrate the enduring bonds of Cranbrook basketball.
