Cheryn Hong

Cheryn Hong ’19 is a New York–based writer, photographer, and emerging producer working at the intersection of media and culture. She currently serves as an Assistant Associate Producer at The Kelly Clarkson Show, following earlier roles with Late Night with Seth Meyers and MSNBC’s Chris Jansing Reports. A former intern at Paramount’s Office of Global Inclusion, Hong is also a published journalist, with bylines in The 74 Million, PRISM, SEEN The Magazine, and The Michigan Daily. At Cranbrook, she was a class president, Crane Clarion editor, and recipient of multiple honors for writing, journalism, Spanish, and overall contribution. She earned her B.A. in political science with a minor in English from Barnard College, where she wrote for The Columbia Daily Spectator’s investigative magazine The Eye. Through both journalism and television, Hong continues to explore storytelling that centers identity, community, and impact.
