David Adetokunbo Williams ’03 is Vice President of Real Estate, Impact and Partnerships at Lafayette Square, a national investment firm focused on increasing economic mobility through strategic, community-based development. A Harvard-trained attorney with deep experience in housing policy and neighborhood revitalization, Williams began his career leading anti-eviction and foreclosure efforts at the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau and later served as a senior advisor in Detroit during the city’s historic bankruptcy. At Cranbrook, he was a thoughtful student and soccer team captain, drawn to history, politics, and global affairs. He credits the School’s academic and cultural environment with expanding his worldview and raising his expectations for what’s possible. His work bridges public and private sectors to help make housing more accessible and strengthen underserved communities nationwide.
