The Cranbrook Residential Hall for Boys houses more than 150 students in four different, connected halls. Ninth graders live in Stevens Hall, tenth graders in Marquis, and eleventh and twelfth graders in Page and Coulter Halls. Although each of these halls is independent, with its own house advisor or assistant house advisor, there are common areas which boys from any hall can use, including lounges and recreation areas.
Boys live in single rooms, encouraging the self-reliance we instill in all our students, and follow strict rules to ensure proper study habits, mutual respect between residents, comfort, and safety. It’s not all rules and regulations, though boys are given many opportunities to participate in programs for the halls such as games, athletics, discussions, and trips to surrounding areas. It is the balance between rules and comfort that give the hall a touch of home.
