Tom Lemberg ’10 is the founder and former CEO of Curebase, a healthcare technology company on a mission to expand access to clinical trials through decentralized, patient-first design. Since launching Curebase in 2017, Lemberg helped the platform enroll over 250,000 patients in more than 40 studies, including eight COVID-related trials during the pandemic—three of which led to FDA emergency use authorizations. He was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 in Healthcare in 2022 and is a Y Combinator alum. A Harvard graduate with degrees in computer science and molecular biology, Lemberg began his career building software tools for real-world clinical evidence. At Cranbrook, he was known for his academic drive and love of writing and math, crediting Dr. Jeffrey Welch and Bob Fredericks for shaping his intellectual development. After stepping down as CEO in 2024, Lemberg is exploring new ventures focused on high-impact innovation at the intersection of technology and health.
