Steven Wang ’20 is the founder and CEO of dub, a social investing platform that helps young investors learn, connect, and trade with confidence. At Cranbrook, Wang distinguished himself as a standout on Cranbrook’s robotics team and winner of multiple entrepreneurship awards, In the summer after his junior year, he was invited to join the MIT PlayLabs Accelerator at the MIT Media Lab, where his team received early-stage funding to develop a startup focused on democratizing access to education through VR called Realism.io. After completing the three-month program and raising a seed round from venture capital firms, Steven moved to San Francisco to run the company—ultimately selling it before returning to Cranbrook to graduate. He went on to attend Harvard, leaving after his freshman year to pursue dub full-time in New York. Today, Steven is at the forefront of the copy trading movement, building tools that empower a new generation of investors.
