Cranbrook Robotics Team brings home Design Award at Robotics Competition
The Cranbrook Schools Robotics team was awarded high honors during the VFX Robotics Competition last week. Out of more than 30 student robotics teams from schools across the country, the "Zip Ties" Robotics team distinguished itself from the rest and brought home the Design Award.
The VFX Robotics Competition is the largest robotics competition worldwide, enabling over 7,000 student robotics teams in nearly 30 countries to participate in hundreds of events. Sponsored by the Heroes' Alliance and NextEnergy in downtown Detroit, the event engages students of all ages to design and construct functional robots, which are then utilized in competitive events as the teams battle each other for championship status.
