CK Girls Lax takes out Pioneer 11-6

The Cranbrook Kingswood girls' lacrosse team showed strength and depth against Ann Arbor Pioneer at the oval on Monday, despite the fact they were coming off of a three day road trip. Tight muscles and some minor injuries did not pose a major problem as the coaches were able to rotate players thanks to an expanded talent pool. The seniors shone that night, with Julia Bleznak leading the scoring with three goals, Allie Murphy, Caley Chelios and Lauren Dolik with two goals each and Rebecca Glasser contributing one. Sophmore Frannie Gembis added another goal to the tally. Colleen Jacoby defended the crease with style, making over a dozen saves.
