Cranbrook Boys JV tennis dominates Lahser!

Cranbrook dominated Lahser in a blistering performance across all flights.
1D played by Will Dube and new freshman, Russell Lee, came from behind after loosing the first set. Never having played together before, it took them only one set to figure each other out and take the #1 spot in a decisive second set (6-1) and a third set super tiebreaker, (10-3). 2D with Graham Gordon and Pritam Mithivanan closed out their match handily 6-2,6-3. Eddy Lee and Maatan Lis won in a fight 6-3,6-4. Michael Konarske and Patrick Barkley fought back from being down to almost take the match back before loosing 6-3, 7-6(7-5). Will Smith and Colin Ghesquiere lost the first set and then came back from 5-2 to win the second at 7-6 before loosing 10-6 in the super tiebreaker. The loss was the first for Will Smith who has to date a 9-1 record. Felix Backhaus and Adam Ross handed out bagels, winning 6-0,6-0! Andrew Peterson and Avery Rapson fought to a 7-6,7-5 win while GabeLupu and Omar Rifal rolled to a 6-3,6-0 win. Following them were a set of solid wins by Nick Honet and Josh Drews 9-7, Zaahid Khan and Jack Canvasser 8-0, Max Ahlborn and Scott Agnew 8-3, Jake and Max Rotter 8-1, Matt Rosen and Kris Butler 8-6.
