State Championship Meet held at Oakland University on Nov. 21st & 22nd

The state team will be heading over to Oakland University Thursday afternoon to prepare for the Div.III Swimming and Diving State Championships. The preliminaries for swimming will be held on Friday, the 21st at 12:00, with diving starting at around 4:00. The finals for swimming and diving will be held on Saturday, the 22nd at 12:00. The girls who qualified for states are Taylor Abbott, Anna Brown, Joanie Burton, Rachel Dekar, Zoe Lukas, Meagan Davis, Amanda McGinnis, Maeve McHugh, Rosemary O'Connor, Brie Sherer, Kaitlyn Fries, Alex Miller, Nicola Reasoner, Milon Crawford, Molly Laubernds and Larissa Sambel. This is the biggest state team that CK has ever had participate in the championships. Congratulations and good luck to the swimmers, divers and coaches! Go CK!!!!!

Leading up to states, the regional diving meet was held on Tuesday the 18th, at Andover High School with thirty divers participating from the area.  CK divers Meagan Davis and Sterling Keiser qualified for the highly competitive meet. Making it into the second round, Sterling finished 18th, with an impressive first show at this meet. Meagan Davis made it into the final round and finished fourth, qualifying her for the state meet.
