Cranes golfer Secure Regional Crown - Now Eye a State Title
The lady Crane golfers traveled to Farmington Hills golf club Tuesday morning where they competed in the MHSAA division 2 region 12 championship. The field of 11 teams was battling for a bid to the State Tournament with the top 3 finishers earning a trip to States.
Players competed in an on and off rain and when the scores were totaled Cranbrook (327 -1st), Marian (341- 2nd), and Seaholm (359 - 3rd) had secured a trip to Bedford Valley GC - Site of the MHSAA 2025 D2 State Championship.
The Cranes showed excellent balance in their Line-Up Sophomore Sixtine Charnelet led the way with a score of (80).Junior Josie VandenHaute was next at (81).Senior Alina Yuan (82),Junior Brianna Giudici (84), and Senior Sydney Behnke (85) wrapped up the scoring.
The 2-Day State Tournament will take place
Friday and Saturday - (10/17-10/18).
