Reunion Weekend returns to Cranbrook this June 5-6-7, and we are delighted to invite alumni back to campus for a weekend of reconnection, reflection, and celebration.
That weekend the classes of

1956,
1961,
1966,
1971,
1976,
1981,

1991,
1996,
2001,
2006,
2011,
2016, and
2021 will be celebrating milestone reunions. Whether you graduated five years ago or eighty years ago, Reunion Weekend offers a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with classmates and return to campus.
Because we are missing contact information for many members of our milestone classes, we encourage all alumni to update their records with the Alumni Office. You can email
alumni@cranbrook.edu or call
(248) 645-3253 with current contact information to ensure you receive Reunion updates and registration details. Contact the alumni office if you are a member of a milestone class and are willing to assist us with collecting contact information and spreading the word about reunion to your class.
A Weekend of Celebration and Reflection
In addition to class gatherings, Reunion Weekend will include the recognition of several faculty milestones. We will mark the conclusion of Upper School Head Noël Dougherty’s tenure and celebrate the retirement of Director of Enrollment Drew Miller, whose three decades of leadership have shaped generations of Cranbrook students.
For our milestone alumni, Reunion Weekend begins Friday evening with special class dinners on the Quad for the Classes of
1946,
1951,
1956,
1961,
1966,
1971 and
1976. That same evening, a cocktail celebration at Kingswood will welcome alumni from the Classes of
1981,
1986,
1991,
1996,
2001,
2006,
2011,
2016, and
2021.
On Saturday, all alumni can look forward to campus tours, opportunities to return to familiar spaces—from the lacrosse field and baseball diamond to the tennis courts—and a range of gatherings designed to bring classmates together to share stories about the past while making new memories.
A Special Gathering: Gallimaufry Reunion
This year’s Reunion Weekend will also feature a first-ever
Gallimaufry Reunion, celebrating Cranbrook’s long tradition of student literary and artistic expression through this award winning student publication. Whether you were a Gallimaufry editor, committee member, contributor or fan, or if you remember the magazine's predecessors
Opus or
The Acorn, we invite you to gather and celebrate the legacy of this form of student-led creative expression. The gathering will honor the memory of former faculty member and artist-in-residence
Christine Goodale, who taught painting, drawing, and photography from 1976 to 2012 and served as a dedicated advisor to
Gallimaufry for many years.
Looking Ahead
Now is the perfect time to reconnect with classmates and begin planning your return to campus. Reunion registration will open in April, with more details to follow.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Cranbrook for Reunion 2026.
