Banished to an unnamed mess of an island, the once and rightful Duchess of Milan, Prospero, and her daughter Miranda, make a home there for twelve years. Becoming a master inventor, Prospero helps to exact revenge on the people who usurped her. Serving her reluctantly are Caliban, the deformed son of Sycorax and the devil himself, and A.R.I.E.L., an Artificial Intelligence (AI) which Prospero has built a body for; A.R.I.E.L. is the mainframe computer which controls all operations on the island.

Prospero and Ariel create a storm which shipwrecks Alonso, the King of Naples, and many of his courtiers on the island. One of them is Propsero's sister Antonio, the woman who usurped her and essentially stole the Duchess of Milan throne.

Prospero uses this opportunity to exact her revenge and get back her crown. Through many zany encounters with Ariel and Caliban, the shipwrecked crew is ultimately placed in front of the woman herself, Prospero. Will she forgive? Will she exact her revenge?
