Coming Together for Disaster Relief: Opportunities for Giving

Since the beginning of our legacy, Cranbrook has had a history of responding to human needs. As we look for direction responding to the series of natural disasters of recent weeks, we are striving to band together in support to organizations that are providing aid to the people and places affected by these recent crises. Additionally, we are continuing to stay mindful of the needs of the families and individuals closer to us that have been affected by crisis, and are still in need of assistance.

Since 2014, we have been committed to providing aid to the individuals affected by the Flint Water Crisis, a situation that still requires attention and involvement from surrounding communities such as ours. But regardless of whether a crisis is close to home, across the country, or abroad, it is the community’s hope that our students, parents, faculty, and friends will be moved to provide assistance in whatever way feels best for them.

Whatever you might decide to do to support those in need, including the many Cranbrook families who have lost property and may be experiencing displaced or otherwise affected loved ones, know that everything helps and every gesture is appreciated. We appreciate your consideration as we continue to march forward with a spirit of giving and kindness.
