Now in its ninth year, the Cranbrook Envisions a Cure (CEC) event allows everyone in the Cranbrook community the opportunity to support cancer research, as well as honor those who are currently dealing with cancer or who have in the past. The CEC foundation belongs to the entire Cranbrook community, and is designed to strengthen the strong network of awareness and support that is needed to raise awareness about the struggles of dealing with a cancer diagnosis.
This year’s event is sponsored by the CEC Club and the CK Cross Country team, and features several charities such as Gilda’s Club, St. Baldrick’s Foundation, Sisters Hope, and Imerman Angels. CK alumna and Gilda’s Club liaison Ellen Jaffe Sherman will also serve as guest speaker during the event.
This event allows the entire Cranbrook community to band together in the fight against cancer, as well as provide critical financial backing for cancer research and support groups. Please join the community on September 17th so that you can raise awareness, make new friends, and learn about the important work of the charities—all of which make a big impact!
