Cranbrook Students Perform with Toledo Symphony Orchestra

Two CK musicians were awarded the chance to perform with the Toledo Symphony this past Sunday, March 12th at the Peristyle in the Toledo Art Museum. Of the four student performers selected for this honor, Cranbrook’s students comprised half of that amount.

Violinist Soyoung Cho, ’19, and pianist Jack Naglick, ’21, were winners of the 2016 Toledo Young Artist Competition last May. As a result of their accomplishments, both students were awarded the privilege of performing with the Toledo Symphony this year.

Soyoung performed Wieniawski’s “Violin Concerto No. 2,” and Jack played Muczynski’s “Piano Concerto No. 1.” Both performances were outstanding. The Performing Arts Department is very proud of Soyoung’s and Jack’s accomplishments, as are their families, friends, and teachers. Congratulations!
