Never Giving Up!

CK determination against Bloomfield was truly recognized.  It was an amazing first period, Goalie Mira Norton kept shutting out the shots, even threw a roll over save in the mix & CK kept #25 & 8, Bloomfield top scorers at bay.  Forward Daniella Gan amazing forechecking led to a turn over, giving Timko a chance on net.  

In the second, at 13:16, Bloomfield scored their first goal however 20 seconds later, Timko tied it up with a top corner goal with assists from defense Lela Lantigua & Rebecca Park.  CK goal attempts were unstoppable, Timko second attempt for top corner, hit the goalies helmet!  Defense Lela Lantigua had multiple shots from the point.  Timko, Ella Lantigua & Lela Lantigua had a rush at the end of the 2nd offering multiple chances on net.  

Defensive, Phoebe Knoer showed relentlessness not allowing shots to get threw.  Winger, Rebecca Park never stopped chasing down the puck.  Center, Gracie Hardy had amazing back checking in the neutral zone, reading the plays.  Winger, Sandra ‘Shani’ Bae was determined to get the puck off the boards even with triple the size #23 was on top of her.  Winger, Venessa McCann had strength on the boards & Paige O’Doherty had strong breakout passes.
