Gallimaufry named Crown Award Finalist by CSPA

Upper School Art and Literary magazine recognized among best in the world by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.

Gallimaufry, Cranbrook Kingswood Upper School’s art and literary magazine, has been named a Crown Award Finalist by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA). Crown finalists will receive either a Gold or Silver Crown Award during a special presentation at Columbia University in New York City.

CSPA’s Board of Judges selected only 225 finalists from entries submitted by schools from across the country and around the world.

Featuring student works in fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and art, Gallimaufry has long been a significant publication in the Upper School, and the Spring 2022 issue was the award-winning magazine’s 83rd volume.

Crown entries were judged virtually by student and professional media experts. Gold or Silver Crown awards will be presented during a special Awards Convocation during CSPA’s 99th annual Spring Convention, held on the University’s campus in New York City from Wednesday, March 15, through Friday, March 17, 2023.

COLUMBIA SCHOLASTIC PRESS ASSOCIATION is a program of Columbia University.
