Overtime thriller!

As second tick down in the 8 minute overtime, CK was on the tips of their skates, toes or seats with sudden death OT🏒 With Goalie Gracie Sui in net, the girls ran the puck up overtaking Northville zone, Lela Lantigua makes a streaking pass across the goal meeting Sandra Bae stick on the back post to sink the puck in the back of the net!!!

Forty-five minutes prior, the Cranes monopolized the game with 40 to 10 shots on net.  Center Milani Sheth had the first goal of the game🫶🏼 To spice up our lines, defensive Sophie Antone & Ella Lantigua spend some shifts as center opening up the ice with great shots on net🏒  The Centers strong forechecking maintained the puck in their zone, allowing a lot of opportunities on net.  The wingers fought hard for the puck making great passes out of our zone & rushing the net.  Forward, Paige O’Doherty & Vanessa McCann were in perfect positions on the boards and on the net🫶🏼 Wingers Daniella Gan, Sandra Bae, Ameera Patel & Ranya Ahmad stepped up their game adding to forward movement in the neutral zone & shots on net.  Defense Lela & Ella Lantigua fluid movement stole opportunities from Northville. And Phoebe Knoer & Sophie Antone held strong  the blue line, placing the puck on net for rebounds🏒Goalie Sui, made immaculate saves including the four, two on one and one on one break always💪🏼

The girls are finding their groove, spreading out on the ice, boxing out the opponents on penalty kills & making strong passes to each other!  The girls ✨Believe✨ in each other, in themselves & in making each game count on & off the ice🏒
