Forever a Rivalry

Every since the girls varsity team took ice in 1995 with only 4 high school teams to battle, University of Liggett was always the huge rival…the one to beat!  With the beginning of a new year, Cranbrook went out on the ice with unstoppable mentality✨  Our defensive was solid with Ella & Lela Lantigua and Phoebe Knoer & Sophie Antone.  Holding the blue line or making runs to Liggett’s net, fighting hard for each & every puck.  Our centers, Milani Sheth & Grace Hardy battled hard for the puck at both ends, making solid runs & passes into Liggett’s  zone🏒. The wings, Ameera Patel, Daniella Gan, Sandra Bae, Vanessa McCann, Rebecca Park & Fiona Sik fought hard along the boards, making great break outs into the neutral zone.  Goalie Mira Norton played tooth & nail making great saves, pouncing on free pucks and having the backbone of the team on her shoulders🫶🏼 

Every return to the locker room is filled with positive affirmations to each & every player.  Tonight’s player of the game goes to Milani Sheth💎🩴
