CK's Light They Carry

On the very brisk Saturday evening, Cranbrook took the ice against Troy United.  The CK girls had a strategically challenging game with another thin roster of 10 on the bench.  Freshman Goalie, Grace Sui, took to the net with no fear for her first game!  She took numerous hard shots and made great saves for CK.  Timko scored CK first goal at 12:37 in the 2nd period followed by Sophie Antone goal at 8:14 with assist from Timko.  In the 3rd, Timko made a perfect shot in the top corner at 12:39 with assist from Sandra Bae.  
With the lack of calls from the refs, CK maintained positive attitudes and good communication on the ice. CK girls are creating the confident bedrock for all future games and will be excited to have a full roster for the next week of games!
