Roger Goldman

Class of 1959

“My classmates and I reaped intangible benefits ...

with our interactions with Harry Hoey and Ben Snyder, both of whom set a standard of comportment and responsibility which most high school students are unaware of. Being exposed to Harvey Croze’s incredible photographs, sitting in class and enduring Coach Corrubia’s banter or my parents having Reverend (Rev) Young over for dinner (discussing Philosophy, the bible or hockey) were enriching experiences on so many different levels. My lasting friendships with many of my classmates to me, is in itself a testimony to the fine men and their families with whom I had the privilege of knowing during those important years spent at Cranbrook. Years I will never forget.”
