Merit-based scholarships to Cranbrook Kingswood Upper School for outstanding new boarding students from Washtenaw and Livingston counties.
The Crane Scholarships are merit-based grants that are awarded annually to rising 9th, 10th, or 11th grade students who live in Washtenaw or Livingston counties. New boarding students will be selected to receive scholarships on the basis of excellent academic performance, testing, recommendations and personal qualities. The top applicant will receive a $20,000 scholarship, and runners up will be awarded a $7,500 scholarship. Recipients will continue to be given the Crane Scholarship every year until graduation from Cranbrook Schools.

Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
(1:00 p.m. Presentation, 1:30 p.m. Testing)

Students who wish to be considered for this scholarship must first apply to Cranbrook Schools.  This process requires the following steps:

-     Complete the online application form and student questionnaire
-     Request transcripts and teacher recommendations from your current school (request forms are available on our website)
-     Take an admission test - either the SSAT or CTP (the CTP will be administered free of charge at the reception)
-     Come to campus for a tour and interview

The Cranbrook Schools Admissions Office must receive all parts of a student's application by January 31, 2019, for priority consideration.  Recipients of the scholarship will be notified by March 10, 2019.
