Academic rigor is an important and valued part of a Cranbrook education, but that certainly doesn't mean it's all work and no play. Student life is rich and fulfilling, providing many opportunities for your child to express his or her interests and discover new passions.
Because we are a residential campus, our facilities don't close when classes end at 3:20 p.m. Your child can participate in extracurricular activities and still have access to school facilities in the evening for homework or projects. Our libraries, computer center, and science labs are open for all students from 7:00-10:00 p.m. on school nights.
With about 40 vibrant clubs and organizations, your child will have the opportunity to participate in such things as student leadership groups, community service groups, national robotics club competitions, debates on domestic and international policies with Model United Nations club, or they may choose to write for our award-winning student newspaper.
