MEET THE HEAD COACH:
Andy Fairman is In his 10th year as the Varsity Boys' Baseball Head Coach at Cranbrook. He was an All-State 1st Team Baseball and Football player for the Berkley Bears, then spent 3 years at the University of Michigan where he won the Bill Freehan Hitting Award in 1991. Andy was drafted in the 24th round by the Milwaukee Brewers in 1991, and played as a Rookie League All-Star with the Helena Brewers, winning the batting title in 1991. He spent 4 years in the Brewer organization. He continued his career at Wayne State University, where he coached for 3 years and the Warriors won the GLIAC title for the first time in 18 years. He spent 3 years as an assistant coach at Oakland University, then started teaching and coaching baseball at Cranbrook in 2002.
