The National Music Institute for Young Artists is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the discovery, development and showcasing of emerging, musical talent. Offering uniquely personalized educational and performance opportunities, the National Music Institute is committed to guiding, nurturing and supporting exceptional, young artists.
Seeking to be a valuable resource in the creative and professional development of emerging artists, the National Music Institute private coaching sessions are intended to help the student refine technique and musicianship, foster artistic and creative confidence, and prepare for audition and competition success. Private sessions are typically 60 minutes in duration and available in the following areas:
- Jazz Studies
- Composition & Songwriting
- DJ Performance and Electronic Music Production (see DJ Academy)
- Music Theory, Ear-Training & Solfège
- Chamber Music
- College-conservatory/pre-professional counseling
Recording Production Services
The National Music Institute is pleased to offer recording production services for young artists. This unique opportunity is ideal for emerging talent seeking to develop an album, debut CD, music video or media for audition and competition usage.
Based on a commitment to serve as a valuable resource in the creative and professional development of emerging electronic producers and DJs, the National Music Institute DJ Academy curriculum is designed around the following:
- Developing knowledge of the past, present & future electronic music industry
- Developing knowledge of industry standard equipment & software
- Developing one's technique, musicianship & style
- Developing one's creative identity and brand
