Robotics Day Camps (coed, grades 1-12)
Robotics Day Camps explore the realms of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) curriculum utilizing applied robotics and the latest software packages. Working with various software packages, campers design, build, and program autonomous & remote-controlled robots to explore challenges that are only as limited as your camper’s imagination. Every camper takes home a USB drive containing the programs they created for their robot in order to continue creative robotics exploration. Some sections are MAKE & TAKE that allow campers to work on their own unique robot and then take it home along with the USB drive.
Robotics Day Camps offer sessions in LEGO® WeDo™ using the new 2.0 kits, the VEX™ IQ Challenge, and WRO™.
The Cranbrook Schools Robotics Program during the school year regularly advances its VEX™ IQ, VEX™, FTC, and WRO™ teams to state- and world-level championships. As an extension of our long history of superior robotics achievements, Cranbrook Robotics Day Camps offer VEX™ IQ and WRO™ staffed by members of our Schools' team coaches who help campers build robots to compete in the official league tournaments.
