 | Campers, ages 3 - 13, who require adult supervision before and after day camp may enroll in Fore & Aft Care. Skilled and experienced child caregivers supervise group games, quiet time, and outdoor play.
Designed to support the needs of busy parents who have children enrolled in our Day Camps, the Fore & Aft Care Program offers extended care for our campers. Starting at 7:00 am, campers join other boys and girls waiting for their exciting Day Camp activities to begin. The Fore & Aft day can last as late as 6:00 pm for families who can not arrange to pick up their camper immediately after camp dismissal. Board Games, construction activities, and arts and crafts are always available. Afternoon Fore & Aft Care includes a light snack. Fore & Aft Care is supervised by trained counselors who oversee all indoor and outdoor activities. The same expectations for inclusivity and appropriate behavior from our Day Camps are maintained.
For security purposes parents must escort campers into Fore & Aft Care and sign them in each morning. Parents must also enter the building and sign campers out when picking them up in the afternoon. Parents may drop off at all Day Camp locations no earlier than 20 minutes before the camp's start time;there is no staff to supervise campers at Day Camp locations until 20 minutes prior to the scheduled start of and Camp. Parents who need to drop off campers earlier than 20 minutes before the start of Camp should drop children off at he Fore & Aft location. Parents who violate this policy will be charges drop-in Fore & Aft Care fees each time this occurs. Parents who arrive for pick up later than 20 minutes after scheduled dismissal of any Camp should go directly to the Fore & Aft Care location, since children who have not been picked up within 20 minutes of dismissal will be transported to the Fore & Aft Care venue.
Fore & Aft Care is a fee-per-use program, and families are charged by the hour for every hour or portion thereof the campers uses the Fore& Aft program. Families who enroll in a Fore & Aft contract are charged $6.00 per hour for every hour or portion thereof of Fore & Aft use; families who do not enroll in a Fore & Aft Care contract are charged $13.00 per hour for every hour or portion thereof used. Retroactive registrations are not accepted. Families are welcome to use Fore & Aft Care at any time on an as-needed basis.
