A Celebration of Life: Honoring Miles Robinson

Please note the arrangements made for honoring the life of Cranbrook Schools educator Miles Allen Robinson this coming Saturday, August 27th.

Kai, Jackson, and Hannah Robinson, and Miles’ brother Dennis, along with friends and family, will gather on the Cranbrook campus on August 27 to celebrate the well-lived life of Miles Robinson. We hope that you will join us.

Please arrive at the Cranbrook Kingswood Middle School for Girls at 4:30 pm where we will share stories and honor Miles. At 6:30, we will proceed to the Cranbrook Institute of Science, West Entrance to share food and drinks as we continue our celebration of Miles’ life. You may join us on a one mile, slow paced, bicycle Ride of Silence through campus honoring cyclists who have been injured or died on public roadways and bringing awareness to bicycle safety (in the spirit of bicycle safety, please bring and wear a helmet for yourself and children if you plan to ride). Others may walk or drive the short distance to the Institute of Science. Casual dress is encouraged and, we invite you to wear Hawaiian print apparel.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Horizons Upward Bound. Donations can be made on the HUB page of the Cranbrook Schools website or sent to Cranbrook Schools-Horizons Upward Bound, attn.: Deborah Debose, PO Box 801, Bloomfield Hills, MI 480304. Please specify that donations are in memory of Miles Robinson.
