Cranbrook Upper Schools Students Excel in Fine and Performing Arts

A multitude of Cranbrook Kingswood Upper Schools students have proven themselves as high achievers in the fine and performing arts.

Awards have been given to over one hundred Cranbrook students through both the 2014-2015 National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards and the 2015 regional MSVMA and MSBOA Solo and Ensemble Festivals.

Since being founded in 1923, The National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards are the largest and most long-standing recognition program for exceptionally creative students in grades 7 through 12. Sixty-eight awards were given to Cranbrook Kingsbrook Upper Schools students by the Southeastern Michigan Region of The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, which is sponsored by the College of Creative Studies in Detroit.
