Cranbrook Warrior Lax Jam 2014 Registration is Now Open!
Greetings Lacrosse Enthusiasts,
Please click on the link below to enter our new online registration system, designed and built especially for the Cranbrook Warrior Lax Jam.
Please take note of several important changes in the registration process:
We appreciate your support of the event as we move into Lax Jam's second quarter century! As the sport continues to grow and develop we hope you'll make the Cranbrook Warrior Lax Jam a celebration of your spring season and a jumping off point for summer.
- In response to clear trends developing in youth lacrosse throughout the United States, we have established age-based divisions for girls and boys play. We understand that Michigan is in a transition mode in this regard and ask for your cooperation as we implement a revised scheduling system for 2014.
- Importantly, if your team is grade-based, register accordingly (the registration system offers both age and grade based categories).
- We will make every effort to create a competitive day of lacrosse for every team. It is important that you rate your team appropriately. Scheduling remains at the discretion of the Lax Jam Competition Committee.
- In order to ease the registration process for teams that have not yet collected player fees for the coming season, we are seeking an initial deposit of just $100 towards to the total registration fee at this time. The full fee will be due no later than February 28, 2014. You must pay the $100 deposit to make your sign up effective and to avoid being placed on the wait list. Mail your deposit (making sure to indicate the program/teams it applies) to Colby Wilson at 39221 Woodward Avenue, Unit 506, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304.
Please contact us if you have any comments or suggestions on the new online registration. We welcome your feedback.

Lax Jam 2013 Announces Bridge the Divide Lacrosse Equipment Drive
|We are proud to announce an important new partnership with Bridge the Divide. Cranbrook Kingswood students will host an equipment drive during Lax Jam weekend to support their efforts to grow the sport of lacrosse in Detroit.|
Bridge the Divide is a club established at Cranbrook Kingswood Upper School that engages students with the community and world around them. Bridge the Divide is currently in its second year of running a summer lacrosse program at Clark Park in Southwest Detroit. This program is included in recreational activities for neighborhood children in Southwest Detroit. We really want to connect the culture of lacrosse to doing good in the city of Detroit, and last summer, the children were capitivated by the sport. This summer, we would like to see kids with their own equipment to use during practice as well as at home. We would also like to expand the program with scrimmages with other summer leagues. Our goal before the summer is to provide each participate with a stick and a ball in order to grow their game, as well as spread the game of lacrosse in Detroit. Any equipment helps grow the game and bring opportunities to children in Detroit.
Please contribute to this project and help those less fortunate than us through the game of lacrosse. The equipment drive will be open throughout Lax Jam weekend. Please bring your used equipment to the main apparel sales tent in the Vendor Village. Thank you!
