Mayble Cripps
Mayble Cripps served as an assistant junior kindergarten instructor and an office assistant at Brookside.

She arrived at the school in 1942—the year her husband, Wallace Cripps, began teaching—but spent about 15 years as a housewife raising their two children, Barbara and Todd.

In 1957, Cripps accepted her first position at Brookside as the secretary to headmistress Jessie Winter, commencing a 26-year career.

In her spare time, Cripps enjoyed rug hooking, needlepoint and reading.
